Welcome to Woodland Walk Counselling.

Looking after our mental health and general well being is so important. If we are feeling 'out of sorts' or experiencing a 'sudden crisis', our thoughts, feelings and actions not only affect us personally in different ways but also affects those around us and our everyday living.

Life's challenges are all unique and complex to each individual, and counselling can help you to work through these areas in a safe, confidential and non judgmental environment.

Life throws many surprises at us and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations.

I am based in Little Baddow away from the busy city/town centres full of noise, traffic and distractions. I can offer you a space to explore your issues and gain the tools and coping strategies to enable you to move forward in your life and overcome areas that are holding you back.

If we wait for change to happen by itself we'll be waiting a long time. Take control of your life and take control of your issues. The time for change is now. You have already taken the first important step to feeling better - you're here.

I like to think of life as a walk in the woods. It can be beautiful and easily navigated or it can be dark, overgrown, and sometimes dangerous and frightening. Some pathways may be clear, others may be blocked by fallen trees and brambles. You may feel as though you are sitting on a fallen tree, unsure of what to do or where to go. Sometimes we can't see the wood for the trees and the pathway out may be right in front of you, but you can't see it.
I can guide you through the woods and onto the clear path, you just need to reach out and I will walk with you.

Please note that sessions do not involve walking or woods. Woodland Walk is simply a metaphor for life's ups and downs.
