ARE YOU NEURODIVERGENT?

 

SUPPORT GROUP FOR TEENAGERS WITH ADHD/ASD THAT ATTEND MAINSTREAM SCHOOL.

 

Woodland Walk Counselling is looking to start a support group for teenagers with ADHD/ASD that attend mainstream schools.

The purpose of the group is to talk about any issues you may be experiencing in school, at home or socially, with others that may share the same difficulties, and to help each other deal with specific areas of concern, without being judged.

This is also an opportunity to make friends with others who will understand you.

Sessions will be relaxed, comfortable and confidential, with a maximum of 5 per group.

Cost will initially be £10 per session and sessions will be 1 hour.

Sessions will be held in Little Baddow or Moulsham Lodge.

At this stage I am gauging interest only, with a view to starting later in the year. If you or someone you know would like to give it a go, please contact me with your location preference and any questions you may have.

 

• Please note that this support group is not suitable for those with severe mental/learning disabilities.
• This is a peer support group, not group therapy.
